No Contact/No Show/ Last Minute Cancellation Agreement

 

At Livira Waxing we value both your time and ours, so with that being said "no call/text, no show" will result in a charge of half your service(S) before you are able to book again. We are a small business, we do not make an hourly rate. If you don't show up, we have lost money. Plain and simple. You will not be able to cancel your appointment online within one hour of your scheduled appointment; you MUST call or text. Also, if the appointment is cancelled within one hour, we will charge half of services cancelled. With such little time, we will not be able to fill the spot. You will be sent an invoice the same day that will have to be paid before you can book again. we also have a strict six-minute late policy. meaning if you are not in the studio at the six minute late mark, we will not be able to do any or all services booked. fees may also apply. if you have questions, please reach out. Health, Safety, and Prep!

Before your appointment

  • if you are feeling ill, you are required to reschedule. we are sorry for the inconvenience this may cause, but we have to ensure the safety of not only ourselves, but our families, other clients, stylists, etc.

  • to check in please read the sign sola salon has provided. text your wax specialist that you have arrived! Or you can use the call box.

  • Please do not come in with another client; you can wait in your car until we are ready for you if you’d like.

  • hair for most services needs to be longer than a grain of jasmine rice (i know some of you were wondering what kind)

  • for most people, one to two weeks growth is plenty long.

  • make sure you’re nice and hydrated!

  • exfoliate the day before your appointment, if you don’t have one just make sure you’re clean, hydrated, and ready to learn!

  • For brazilian clients, if you are on your menstrual cycle you can still get waxed! all we ask is you wear a tampon or cup during the appointment. No, we don’t think it is weird. yes, it happens all the time. You will be more sensitive during this time so please be hydrated!

  • if you’re super nervous, take a Tylenol and tell your wax specialist! we have all been there, it can be scary but we will try to accommodate as much as possible.

  • We will meet you at the front doors of sola. there are two entrances, we are closer to the one further away from 6th ave. don’t worry, either door works!

  • let us know if you have any allergies!

During your appointment

  • Talk to your wax specialist if you have any concerns; temp, pulling, ingrowns, aftercare, anything!

  • Mira and Liv move as quickly as possible. it really does help with the Overall experience.

  • if you ever need a second, always say something!

After your appointment

  • redness and swelling is totally normal. you are more than welcome to shower the same day you get waxed, but don’t use super hot water. Trust us, you won’t want to. Exfoliated skin can be very sensitive.

  • no excessive sweating for 24 hours after waxing of any kind.

  • rules for Brazilians: no sex, no gym, no pools, no hot tubs, no submerging for at least 24 hours.

  • exfoliate at least three times a week. this is vital to prevent ingrowns and future issues.

  • if you have any questions or concerns after service, our work lines are always on and we will get back to you asap.

Touch-up Policy

We try our best to get every hair every time, but sometimes it just isn’t possible with growth patterns, ingrown hairs, or even waxer error. With that said, we offer a complimentary five day touch-up. This means you have to come back to Livira within five days to get the spots taken care of. We are firm on the five days because of growth patterns, feel free ask us about it!
